These shoelaces are first processed as a continuous 500 metre length of cord on a 24 spindle braiding machine, The cord is then pulled through a waxing machine under tension where three sets of brushes smooth the fibres and polish the cord to a light sheen with natural beeswax. The waxed cord is then dried and then processed into shoelaces.
